Black girl rising

Palms on palm oil

Mentality on god conscious

I’m leaning on ancestors

I’m focused on freelancing

Want to tell my children

I don’t work

I create

The difference is that i’m on my own time

Won’t speak so they can read in between the lines

love yours not mine

feel like i’ve chosen a path many can’t step to

Don’t put me on pedestals

Black girl rising

won’t roll my bud with swishers only raw hemp

Can’t believe these lame white folks voted for Kemp

Feel like i’ve listened for too long

I’m not done talking let me finish

East Africa to East Atlanta i’m leaving my mark like hydrangeas in the fall

God rang so I took the call
